Joel Boyd is a Chicago-based comedian who refuses to lower his expectations for his dreams. “I want to host the Oscars at some point, like, I want to obviously have some comedy specials, write and direct my own show slash maybe films. I definitely would like to be one of the comedians who can sell out Madison Square Garden.” Boyd has been doing stand-up comedy since he was 14.
“I remember moving to Chicago and I’d literally just walk downtown and I was like, I need this. You know what I mean? I just need that constant stimulation of like meeting new people. Standup allows you to go to a different room and it’s never the same, literally never the same.”

Raynie Jackson owns two salons in Chicago's Loop, or as he puts it, all the Headrest Unisex salons in the world.
Raynie grew up in the West Village projects. He remembers playing softball and eating barbecue with his neighbors. But that all changed when crack cocaine moved into his neighborhood in the late 80s.
"... Except for that one time when that guy went into the interview high [and everything]. I mean he still had the needle in his arm," Raynie joked.

These brave gentlemen were seen near the market in the city center to promote and new cake and wine at a cafe. They succeeded in grabbing people's attention as they danced and literally frolicked in the cold with hardly anything on.
in Ljubljana so I was doing pre-hospital care.” “When you were doing emergency medicine, what’s one the craziest things that happened?” -“Those creepy stories when you came to those little villages and those stone houses are in the surroundings. And then you come inside and you know there should be somebody who’s not so well and you see a stain of blood down the wall. You say, ‘Ah, no!’ But it’s a happy story. He was just drunk and he he hit his head on the wall and just a little splash."
as designing partners?” -“We found each other on a street market. She found me there and she saw my things from aluminum and she said, ‘Oh, this is a really good idea, that we make things together.’” -“We want to present us together— how two different designers work as a unit together, because I believe in unity. I believe in connection.” -“We don’t talk much. It’s really crazy, because I do one thing, and she comes in the studio, ‘Oh, I did this,’ [and it’s like] whoa, I had that vision!”
